Daily Doodle #9: Ancient Fashion #2
And today I sketched the chlamys – an ancient Greek piece of garment, which is basically a square piece of sheet worn over the shoulders. It is tied over the right shoulder using a fibula (ancient brooch). The chlamys is usually worn by soldiers or messengers.
