Illustration: Industrial scenery (And trying out Paint Tool Sai)

A little bit of industrial landscape for the masses. I used the free Paint Tool Sai for these. I just recently heard about it. It’s really nice I must say. It lacks some cool features Photoshop has (like new image dimensions based on clipboard, which I use really often), but it’s not a photo editing software.

The pen and airbrush tools are more delicate in Sai and it has all the layer features, just like in Photoshop. I think I finally found a good Photoshop replacement for creating paintings and sketches. And it’ free!

Art for upcoming Eatly Beatly

Haven’t been updating here in a while. Lots of things are coming up, but in the meantime, here’s a few artworks I made for Eatly Beatly, an upcoming game for Facebook and smartphones creates by my friend Oren. They tell the story that precedes the game itself. Eatly sleeps peacefully in his cave while suddenly candies fall over him from above.

Illustration: Red Devil

She didn’t turn out as devilish as I intended her to be. But I think I’m improving my skill. Next time I’ll draw her better.

Illustration: Alone in Space

I’ve been working on this piece for several days, or rather several nights. I like working during graveyard shift.

For an even larger image (this one is 4960px wide, the largest image I’ve ever created!) visit the dA page here.

Concept: Graveyard

I love graveyards. The creepier, the better. I love crooked tombs, broken gateways and rotting trees. Also a hill that makes the entire scene more interesting is also welcome. This was done in about 3 hours in Photoshop.

Concept: The Zombie Scarecrow

Working on this character for quite some time, I spent most of the day creating this little piece. Based on some doodles I made earlier I drew him in Photoshop and added some more detail to give him some more depth.
