This one was done from a photo that was taken from a weird angle. I spent too much time on it already, and decided to upload it anyway. This is Rona Kenan, one of the best Israeli rock singer-songwriters of recent years.
A little bit of industrial landscape for the masses. I used the free Paint Tool Sai for these. I just recently heard about it. It’s really nice I must say. It lacks some cool features Photoshop has (like new image dimensions based on clipboard, which I use really often), but it’s not a photo editing software.
The pen and airbrush tools are more delicate in Sai and it has all the layer features, just like in Photoshop. I think I finally found a good Photoshop replacement for creating paintings and sketches. And it’ free!
My first session at the Israeli Animation Academy in Tel Aviv. It was rather pleasant and fun. These are my best drawings from that night:
She didn’t turn out as devilish as I intended her to be. But I think I’m improving my skill. Next time I’ll draw her better.
