I found her picture in a 2006 issue of Newtype magazine and I had to draw her. She’s a Japanese voice actress.

I continued working on this some more. The shading is still very crude, and there are some unfinished areas where I need to darken some more, especially his ears. I think I’ll give his hands some basic shading, since it’s mostly away from the center of interest in this picture.

This morning routine’s result. Now I’m off running to work. I’d better put some pants on first..

Apparently I made Mr. Price a bit fat, and also I noticed his eyes are not properly placed. Took the time to make some fixes. What do you think?

I watched The Fall of the House of Usher last night. It was a good film and it made me want to draw Vincent Price, the lead actor (which I don’t need to introduce).

Time took is about 40 minutes, which is an entire morning session I dedicate to drawing before going to work. Today was special, because I was actually able to finish the piece in one morning.

Anyway, I’m off to work now.

Just doodling around. I’m into making some portraits now. I want to push my skills in accurately drawing faces.
